In the full-size truck class, the RAM 1500 has maintained its strong appeal among shoppers for several decades. For example, a 12-inch digital instrument panel is available for the first time. In addition, the Limited Elite Edition is available. The other possibilities are a 702-horsepower, V8, supercharged 6.2-liter system, and a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel, V6, 260-horsepower alternative.

The base 2023 RAM 1500 Tradesman is well-appointed with Bluetooth connectivity, trailer sway damping, heated and powered side mirrors, air conditioning, a 5-inch infotainment system screen, cruise control, remote keyless entry, and others. The higher RAM 1500 trucks for 2023 may also come with a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, automated parking, a surround-view camera, lane departure mitigation, a blind-spot warning, RamBox storage, a dual-pane sunroof, a digital rearview mirror, all-terrain tires, a 12-inch central display screen, a rear cross-traffic warning, a wireless charging pad, reclining and heated rear seats, a navigation system, parking sensors, in-bed lighting with a spray-in bedliner, rain-sensing wipers and many other advanced features.
