What's New for the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee has minor updates for the new year, including the option to get a custom 80th Anniversary package for the Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee adds the new trim package to its already diverse lineup for even more choices than before. The Jeep Grand Cherokee has the same power and performance characteristics as it did in 2020, which gives it impressive tow ratings and plenty of speed, especially if you opt for the V8 engine. The Grand Cherokee has a range of trim levels to meet everyone's needs, including some specially rigged for off-road driving. The Jeep Grand Cherokee will also keep everyone satisfied on road trips with a cabin full of technology and innovative storage solutions inside and out.

Seven trim levels are available for the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The first in the series is the Laredo. With the Laredo, you'll get 18-inch wheels for a safe and stylish exterior. Some safety features are included at the base level, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The interior has all the basics you need for a comfortable and connected ride, including a seven-inch multimedia screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The sound system gets six speakers, and you'll get standard keyless ignition.

More amenities come with the Limited trim, which is also eligible for the new 80th Anniversary Edition package. Heated front seats are a plus in cold weather. A sunroof is added, too, while a power liftgate makes loading and unloading easier. Leather seats add an element of luxury to the interior. For technology, the Limited upgrades to a larger 8.4-inch infotainment screen and gets a WiFi hotspot. The Trailhawk trim pairs exclusive 18-inch wheels with durable all-terrain tires. It also has skid plates and an engine cooling system. Four-wheel drive is standard, and heated seats extend to the back. The Overland gets 20-inch wheels and xenon headlights. With the Summit comes upgraded leather seats, chrome exterior accents, and more safety technology.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee's power options include the standard base V6 that produces 295 HP or three optional V8 engines. The first V8, available on the Trailhawk through Summit, produces 360 HP. The SRT's V8 engine generates 470 HP, while the Trackhawk is powered by a supercharged V8 capable of 707 HP.
