The Overland and Limited trims inside the cabin have a 10.1-inch touch display screen as a standard feature. In addition, the Overland and Summit trims now have an optional McIntosh audio system. The other cabin and safety features offered across the lineup hold steady. The base Grand Cherokee trim offers a six-speaker sound system, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument panel, an 8.4-inch touch display screen, adaptive cruise control, rear parking sensors, rear auto braking, forward collision mitigation, and more. Higher trims add remote start, heated front and rear seats, a wireless charging pad, a household-type power outlet, a navigation system, leather seats, and many other features.
Under the hood, the Trailhawk’s equipment has been updated. This trim now has a 4xe plug-in hybrid system, generating 375 combined horsepower. The primary engine standard for other trims is a 293-horsepower, 3.6-liter, V6 gas engine. The Summit and Overland trims offer an optional 357-horsepower, V8, 5.7-liter gas engine. Select trims also have a load-leveling rear suspension, four-wheel drive, terrain-based driving modes, hill ascent, hill descent, an electronically disconnecting stabilizer bar, and an adaptive air suspension system.
The Grand Cherokee’s exterior is unchanged in 2023. It has spirited, boxy styling with squared-off elements across the wide grille, the lower-front fascia, and the wheel wells. Exterior equipment may include roof rails, heated side mirrors, auto wipers, a power liftgate, towing equipment, up to 20-inch wheels, and more.
