Blending the rugged spirit of the beloved Wrangler with the practicality of a pickup truck, the 2024 Jeep Gladiator receives substantial updates across design, features, and performance. While retaining its iconic Wrangler-inspired look, this mid-generation refresh introduces notable enhancements. The exterior showcases a redesigned grille with rounded ends, distinctive bar accents, and integrated circular headlights. Fresh wheel designs, a windshield-embedded antenna, and the introduction of Anvil as a new body paint option further enhance its visual appeal. Opting for the Mojave X or Rubicon X trim adds steel bumpers for increased durability.
Under the hood, the 2024 Gladiator offers an updated powertrain lineup. The V6 diesel engine from the previous year is discontinued, leaving the V6 3.6-liter gas engine as the sole option. This powertrain delivers 285 horsepower and can be mated to either an eight-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission. Standard part-time four-wheel drive with low-range gearing ensures capable off-road performance. Higher trims may include enhancements such as a locking differential, Fox shock absorbers, electronically disconnecting stabilizer bars, a two-speed transfer case, a lifted suspension, and more.
Interior enhancements feature a larger 12.3-inch infotainment screen, now standard across all trim levels. The Mojave X and Rubicon X trims offer 12-way power-adjustable leather seats for enhanced comfort and luxury. Additionally, side curtain airbags for both rows enhance safety across all trims. These updates complement the array of desirable features carried over from the 2023 model, including a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitor, removable roof panels, heated steering wheel, navigation system, heated front seats, adaptive cruise control, push-button ignition, an eight-speaker sound system, and removable doors.
