 What's New for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler?
The Jeep Wrangler has a long-standing history of being among the most capable SUVs on and off the road. More than that, the Wrangler is a well-equipped model that has been intelligently modernized year after year. In 2024, the Jeep Wrangler benefits from numerous improvements to many trim levels to further elevate its functionality and appeal to adventure-minded drivers. For example, the 2024 Wrangler Rubicon will now have a factory-installed Warn winch and an improved crawl ratio of 100 to 1. The Rubicon will also now have a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds and an opportunity for greater tire upsizing through the Dana 44 HD solid rear axle. The 2024 Wrangler Willys shows off improved capabilities as well. Specifically, it will have higher ground clearance and taller fender flares. It will also come with larger tires and enhanced traction control.
Across all 2024 Wrangler trims, you will find a revamped grille with seven slots, ten new wheel designs, a trail-ready antenna, and more open-air top configurations. Inside, the Wrangler adds wireless smartphone app connections, a UConnect 5 system, a 12.3-inch central display screen, and 12-way power-adjusting front seats to its already expansive list of cabin features. The list of standard safety features also grows. All trims now have side-curtain airbags for both rows. The Sport S trims and higher now include advanced cruise control with stopping and a forward collision warning.
Two new trim levels are introduced for the 2024 model year. These are the Wrangler Sport S 4xe, a PHEV, and the Rubicon X. The Rubicon X has up to 35-inch tires, steel bumpers, and an off-road camera.
If you are looking for adventure in your new 2024 Wrangler, you can take advantage of Trails Offroad. This is the first factory-installed version of this trail guide. It displays 62 trails on the central display screen. With a subscription, this expands to more than 3,000 trails.
