While the 2023 and 2024 versions of the Jeep Wrangler are mid-generation models, they have exciting differences. Both offer the extensive power and versatility you want from an adventure-ready vehicle. However, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler now has enhanced capabilities, updated styling, and new features.
Performance
The 2024 Wrangler Rubicon and Willys trims have been revamped with improved capabilities. The Rubicon now has a solid rear Dana 44 HD axle to support towing up to 5,000 pounds and the option to upgrade to larger tires. The Rubicon also has an enhanced crawl ratio and a standard Warn winch. The Willys is improved with upgraded traction control and more ground clearance. The Sport S 4xe is a new addition to the Wrangler's trim lineup for 2024, and it has a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
Appearance
The 2024 Wrangler Willys has larger tires and taller fender flares. For all trims, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler offers ten fresh wheel designs, several more open-top configurations, a trail-ready antenna, and an upgraded grille that now features seven slots. If you choose to drive the all-new 2024 Rubicon X trim, your Wrangler will have steel bumpers and 35-inch tires.
Features
For 2024, all Jeep Wranglers will have 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a 12.3-inch display screen, a UConnect 5 infotainment system, and wireless smartphone connections. The new Rubicon X trim is equipped with an off-road camera. Several new safety features will be added in 2024 as well. For example, side-curtain airbags are standard for both rows in the 2024 model year. A forward collision warning and advanced cruise control are standard for the 2024 Sport S trim and more advanced trims. In addition, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler has a standard Trails Off-Road guide, which gives you access to 62 off-road trails on the infotainment system screen. This can be expanded to more than 3,000 trails with a subscription.
