Serving Fairfax, VA
The RAM 1500 has long been a solid contender for truck shoppers who demand exceptional utility and exciting features on the road. This is a full-size, light-duty truck that produces considerable horsepower and torque across its powertrain systems, and these systems will expand in the 2024 model year with the debut of an all-electric system. What should you know about the latest versions of the RAM 1500 before making your next truck purchase?
Performance
The turbo-diesel engine offered in the 2023 model year was discontinued in 2024. The other gas engines are unchanged between 2023 and 2024. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 gas engine features eTorque tech and produces 273 horsepower. The 5.7-liter V8 HEMI engine also has eTorque tech, giving you 410 horsepower. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 HEM produces 702 horsepower. The new RAM 1500 REV will have a driving range of 500 miles and can launch to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds.
Appearance
The RAM 1500 trims that carry up to the 2024 model year have comparable styling, and the new RAM 1500 REV that will be released at the end of 2024 reflects a modernized look. The RAM 1500 easily stands out on busy Fairfax roads with its powerfully sculpted hood, tall nose, and vital dimensions. Specific grille styles vary, but all RAM 1500 trims have rectangular headlights with upper and lower LED bars that integrate with the grille. The 2024 RAM 1500 REV has a sleeker look with a tapered hood, a short grille, and LED headlight bars that extend into the grille. The front bumper is prominent with its modernized look and height and sits between rectangular air intakes.
Features
The RAM 1500 is well-appointed across its trim levels for both years. Its safety equipment may include a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot alert, lane departure mitigation, and others. Select trims may also come with automated parking, a head-up display, a premium Harman Kardon sound system, a RamBox cargo space, a dual-pane sunroof, a digital rear mirror, a wireless charging pad, a wireless internet connection, power-adjustable pedals, leather upholstery, remote engine start, and many additional features.
